Forty-one artificial intelligent limbs were distributed free at ONGC Rajahmundry Asset-supported artificial limbs camp at Base Complex here on Wednesday.
The limbs, provided by Greentech Foundation Trust, New Delhi, with financial support from ONGC under Corporate Social Responsibility funds, were fitted on physically challenged born with defective limbs. The beneficiaries were from East Godavari district.
V P Mahawar, Director (Onshore) said that ONGC was committed to spread smiles amongst the deserving in its operational area. “Energising the lives of the immobilised by the Rajahmundry Asset is a classic and innovative example of the company’s commitment towards society”, he added.
