PM Narendra Modi Unveils Khabar India’s Coffee Table Book On Kedarnath

PM Narendra Modi unveiled the much awaited Coffee Table Book (CTB) of senior journalist Manjeet Negi and Khabarindia Media and communications on Kedarnath during his maiden visit to Kedarnath valley on November 7.  This state of the art picturesque CTB “Kedarnath: Beginning of New Era” covers the flash flood disaster that struck Kedarnath valley in June 2013 and the way reconstruction activity has been undertaken in one of the most hostile environments in the world.
PM Modi praised the efforts of Manjeet Negi and Team Khabar India in compiling the information regarding the mammoth task of reconstruction carried out by “super human beings” especially belonging to Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) and youth foundation. Importantly Manjeet Negi was one of the first journalists who reached Kedarnath valley immediately after the disaster in 2013 and has also been emotionally associated with all the reconstruction activities undertaken afterwards.  Khabarindia Managing Editor Amit Bhanot, along with his team worked night and day to give this Coffee Table Book the desired shape covering all the minute stories shared by Manjeet.
Above all Coffee Table Book covers the vision of PM Narendra Modi regarding the reconstruction activities going on in the valley and how “Kedarpuri” of PM’s dream is being set up in the valley during last 2 years. Interestingly PM is taking personal interest in every minute detail of construction activity going on in the valley, which was covered in a fantastic manner in the book.
Importantly this 100 pages Coffee Table Book regressively covers the step by step reconstruction activity that was carried out in kedarnath velley, Gauri Kund, Ram Bada, Sonprayad etc. since February 2014 and how NIM team lead by Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, Principal NIM took the fiercest of the challenge to any how start the “Kedarnath Yatra” in 2014, when everyone had the apprehension that Yatra couldn’t be started in next 4-5 years.
It also covers the grit and passion of energetic youth of Uttarakhand, who have made possible landing of biggest chopper of the world MI-26 in the valley by working tirelessly on minus temperature on such a height. This state of the art Coffee Table Book was also presented to Chief Minister of UP Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat recently.
