The demolition of illegal constructions has been going on for the last three days. Today, for the fourth day, the administration is preparing for bulldozer action. Earlier on Saturday, along with the demolition of illegal construction near the Medical College of Nuh, action was taken at 12 such places where houses and shops were built by occupying forest department land.

As many as 24 FIRs have been lodged for spreading rumours on social media. At the same time, the administration has decided to relax the curfew in Nuh from 9 am to 12 noon today, but the ban on internet still continues. Cyber crime police station attacked for destruction of evidence

The Haryana government on Saturday said the attack on a cyber crime police station in Nuh district was aimed at destroying evidence related to the large-scale fraud that surfaced earlier this year. The cyber crime police station was targeted during the violence that erupted in Nuh on July 31. Six people, including two Home Guard personnel, were killed in the communal clash that broke out after a mob tried to stop the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s procession and the clash spread to Gurugram in the last few days.

Documents related to other crimes, including fraud, were burnt

In a statement, the government said an attempt was made to destroy evidence collected during raids under the guise of violence in Nuh in the last few days and the cyber police station was attacked. Documents pertaining to heavy fraud and other offences were kept in the police station, it said. In April, the Haryana Police had unearthed a cyber fraud of around Rs 100 crore in the biggest-ever raid of its kind. As part of the crackdown, 320 locations of cyber criminals spread across 14 villages of Nuh were raided and 65 cyber criminals were arrested. Apart from this, 66 mobile phones and several fake documents were seized. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij had said on Thursday that the Haryana government has taken the attack on the cyber crime police station very seriously.
