BJP Chief Amit Shah will hold a meeting on Tuesday of party cabinet ministers, various office bearers of the organisation and incharges of Jammu and Kashmir to discuss the political situation in the state- including the impact of suspension of operations during Ramzan and its revocation- and plan the future strategy vis-à-vis ties with ally PDP and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting with BJP leaders and ministers from Jammu and Kashmir is a part of the serious of such confabulations that Shah is holding with various state units. It assumes added significance as a lot of developments have taken place in the border state in the past few months. The party is also serious about ensuring that the forthcoming Amarnath yatra starting from June 28 does not see any violence and passes off smoothly.
