The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a massive lead in Karnataka election results 2018. The trends suggest that it is leading on over 112 seats which is also the majority mark. The Congress, on the other hand, is struggling to cross the 70 mark. JD(S) which is leading on 45 seats might end up playing an important role in forming the government. The BJP CM candidate Yeddyurappa is leading from his seat while Karnataka CM Siddaramiah is leading on one seat and is trailing on other. Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has already hinted at the possibility of an alliance with JD(S). On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sadananda Gowda said that the party will cross 112 seats. “There is no question of alliance(with JDS) as we are already crossing 112 seats,” he said.
