BJP Meet At Mandi To Chalk Out Lok Sabha Poll Plan

In view of the Lok Sabha elections next year, the state BJP leadership will huddle together in Mandi district from April 9 to 11 to chalk out a strategy to ensure the party victory on all four seats.In the 2014 parliamentary elections, the BJP had won all four Lok Sabha seats in the state, when the Congress was in power.The Mandi parliamentary constituency is the home turf of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and the Congress will try its best to wrestle the seat back from the BJP, which is currently occupied by its MP Ramswaroop Sharma. In the 2014 during parliamentary elections, Ramswaroop had defeated his arch rival and sitting Congress MP Pratibha Singh, the wife of former CM Virbhadra Singh.
