Extreme cold wave conditions prevailed in most parts of Uttarakhand, with Almora facing sub-zero temperatures for the last 24 hours, an official. According to the Regional Met Office, as many as 11 cities in the hill state are witnessing temperature below 5°C. Mussoorie recorded a minimum temperature -1°C on Thursday. The winter chill is also being felt in the plains.
