Elon Musk announces media houses and journalists to share in X’s advertising revenue

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said on Thursday that media houses can now get a share in Twitter ‘X’s advertising revenue’. In his latest attempt to woo journalists after paying creators through his X Ad revenue program, The X Owner has now proposed a new way for media houses to make money.

Journalists are also invited to earn money

“Our advertising revenue sharing program also applies to organizations (news or others) that want to participate. Musk invited journalists to publish directly on X (formerly Twitter) and earn higher incomes, as he began removing headlines and text from news articles shared on the platform. On X, posts containing news articles only include the main image and URL, the title and text are removed and links display only the main image of the article.

Assurance of considerable improvement

“It’s coming straight from my side,” Musk said in a post. This will improve a lot. Earlier, he had said that if you are a journalist who wants more freedom of writing and more income, “then publish directly on this platform.” If a follower reacts, then give us better tools. Meanwhile, Musk has now pushed X to develop a format for news articles, where they only show a main image and source URL. The image will still serve as a link to the article. The new change could be to reduce the height of individual posts so that users’ timelines can display more content.
