Met Forecasts Heavy Rain In Shimla

The local Met office has warned of heavy rainfall in the mid and low hills for the next two days and predicted wet spell in the state till July 6.Rains lashed several parts of the state in the past 24 hours. Dharmasala was the wettest in the region with 43 mm of rains, followed by Bharari 27 mm, Dehra Gopipur 24 mm, Bangana and Nurpur 15 mm, Shimla 12 mm, Dalhousie 9 mm, Jubbar Hatti and Theog 8 mm each, Kheri, Paonta Sahib, Arki and Manali 6 mm each, Mandi, Banjar and Tissa 4 mm each, Gohar and Sarkaghat 3 mm each.There was no change in the minimum temperature and Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti was the coldest at night with 8.7°degree C, while the maximum temperatures decreased by a few notches and Una was the hottest recording a high at 37.4 degree C during the day.
