After the violence in Nuh, Haryana on Monday, the police have started their action. All entry points of the district have been sealed. The arrest of stone-pelting and arson has started. Curfew has been imposed in the entire Nuh. As many as 15 companies of police and paramilitary forces have been deployed to deal with the situation.

Schools, colleges and internet services closed

Internet services have been suspended in the district till August 2 to prevent the spread of any kind of rumor. As a precautionary measure, educational institutions in Gurugram, Faridabad and Palwal districts were ordered closed on Tuesday. At the same time, the police is taking big action against the rioters. Through the video, the police are engaged in identifying the rioters.

VHP procession attacked

In fact, on Monday, a procession of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) was passing in Nuh district. During this, the crowd tried to stop the procession. There were incidents of stone-pelting and arson. Several vehicles were set on fire by the violent mob. Two Home Guard personnel were killed and 15 others, including policemen, were injured in the violence. Traffic on the road was disrupted for hours due to the violence.

About 2,500 people were hiding in the temple.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said police evacuated around 2,500 men, women and children from a Shiva temple in Nuh. These included devotees and people who had taken shelter there during the clash between the two sides. The Haryana Chief Minister has appealed to the people to maintain peace.
