Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said there was need to preserve rich culture and traditions of Himachal Pradesh, which has its own significance. The CM was here at Seraj assembly segment of Mandi district on Monday to participate in Maa Baglamukhi Mela at Bharari.Addressing the people, the CM said, “Fairs and festivals were integrated part of our rich cultural heritage which should be preserved at any cost. These fairs and festivals not only provide wholesome entertainment to the locals but also help in promoting our culture and traditions.”He said that Bharari Mela was one of the traditional fairs of the area which was celebrated with great fervour and gaiety every year.“The state government was firm on developing unexplored and virgin areas of the state for tourism purpose. The basic infrastructure facilities would be provided at Janjehli, Shikari Mata temple and Gadagusain for attracting tourists”, he remarked.
